It’s the second-lightest in color, a pale amber, with vanilla and grain on the nose. It continues with the sweet grain character and honey on the palate, and a fairly hot finish as the alcohol takes over. A pleasant introduction to the range, and I prefer it over most other standard blended Irish offerings—great for mixing or as a shot whiskey.
